I can’t believe that Gavin Sheets, Josh Harrison and Leury García have failed in big spots tonight. This is some powerful lineup.

The lineup below Abreu tonight is pretty brutal.

  • This manager sets the tone and it sucks. I saw so much sloppiness from this team. They do little things wrong and it has been put up with far too long under this regime.    Kopech flubs a ball

Obligatory ‘Fire Tony La Russa’ post for good luck.

  • I swear LaRussa makes more than 1 bad decision every single game.  The old adage that a bad manager will cost you no more than 3 losses is just plain wrong with this guy.  He really was the worst poss

Tony leaving Kopech out there to die

I bet we left him in for just Ohtani

Nah TLR ginna leave him out there to give up another run or 2 to put us in a bigger hole to try and climb out of. Because you know it’s only the 6th and the starter must go 6+ every game

Fuck off Tony.

Big Brain Tony La Russa

And just as I say this he gives up a bomb

win 1 game per series per month - that will get us right where we need to be

no reason he started this inning.   Can’t be throwing 93 right down the plate though.

More like Mush Brain TLR

i was fine leaving him out there to start.. but should have pulled him after 1st base runner.

There's so much to b**** about that is so valid, but leave it to Parkman to complain about something that isn't a concern.

Kopech should have been out after 1 base runner. Nothing Tony does is right, and honestly he's been kind of unlucky because even the wrong move works a decent % of the time in baseball but Tony has managed to have all his stupidity come back to bite him.

I’d hate to see what you consider very brutal.  The lack of power behind Abreu is comical.

In ten minutes Mr. HOF Manager makes two fucking boneheaded decisions any random bum off the street would call him out on.  Unreal.

WTF is TLR smoking.  He already threw in the white towel why is Kopech still in there.  TLR is fucking trash

Too bad you can only DH for a pitcher. Would love Cease to hit for Leury, let Leury cover one of our endless defensive holes.

Or VV.

I must be the only one that thought he came across as a wimp in that interview

Rick hahn has become like a major political figure...

"If only someone could do something about this manager and these failures. We need your help, sox fans!"

Guy acts like he works in the marketing department and has not authority to do anything. Flat out hilarious.

Did Steve or Jason question why they didn't pinch hit for Leury?

Jasón questioned why they are not pinch hitting for Vaughn, particularly when the Angels could not get the lefty reliever out of the game.  TLR is just awful.  He will cook up some silly reasoning in the post game presser.  Hitting Garcia was managerial malpractice once again.

I'm ok with Mk Coming out for 6th. But after Walsh killed a ball to get on it was time to take him out.

I guess it doesn't matter as we weren't going to score runs anyway.

He says enough subtle things to let the Hahn ass-kissing society make excuses on his behalf

Your pitchers might be able to hit more than the 7-8-9 batters. Too many automatic outs on this team. Still a problem and will be probably for the entire season

Punch any filing cabinets tonight, Rick?

Go look at Kopech's whiff percentage on his curve and slider.

Jack, you are the definition of someone who mispaints stats to represent their own narrative. Kopech curve and slider both grade as + pitches this year.

Which is why they need to sell in a month. As I mentioned earlier, a massive retooling needs to happen with Tony and Hahn gone.

No reason Lopez shouldn't have been out there immediately after that single to center of Kopech.  None.
