  • People need to start accepting this team just isn’t good. They’ve given us no reason all year to think it’s a playoff team.   The rebuild is in peril.

  • Reinsdorf needs to sell. He doesn’t give a shit about anything besides trying to win on his own terms.  Him and Tony just need to leave this franchise and go b**** about the status of the game elsewhe

I'm at the lowest point of my fandom as an adult. That's all. A very solipsistic view but one I'm sure is shared by quite a few people around 30-50.

A managerial change could have turned the season around 2-3 weeks ago…now it’s too late

he just has nothing

He can’t come out until he pitches 6 or reaches 100 on the pitch count

Polanco Sox killer. Jerry will sign him when he's 36 to a 4 yr deal

Just seven more years from now...Jerry still alive?

The core rebuild guys regressing makes this even harder to watch

So balls do leave the yard here?  Wouldn't know since my team can't hit any.

Welp, on to next season

Kelly in high leverage with Lopez as a mop up guy is something that needs to change. Not that it really matters in the grand scheme of things anyway

I would like to be the first to congratulate the Twins on being 2022 AL Central Champs.

I think Kopech will be fine going forward. It's obvious he needs a break but there's no depth to allow it to happen.

This has literally been a Murphy's Law season.

More Davis Martin, VV and Lambert starts.

Yay.

You're all a bunch of beauties who deserve better.

This is the worst he’s looked since the day before they realized he blew his elbow out

0-5 vs the Twins

That's nice of you. I can't congratulate them since they're my most hated team! Go Cleveland I guess?

About the same velocity.

I'm not sure. Kopech is not getting hitters to swing at balls this year which is unnerving. He was in the 17th percentile in chase rate coming into this game.

Twins went through a more extreme version of this last season. It doesn't mean future seasons are doomed, but obviously changes are needed for the Sox to contend again.

Guardians are really scuffling now and Naylor got hurt yesterday.

Mostly Ramirez has been ice cold for nearly three weeks now.

This team really needs a HR

Should have specified the Sox.

I've turned this game off, but if the "Fire Tony" chant becomes audible, let me know and I'll switch back over.

There was a difference though. The Twins could still hit and catch the ball last year. The Sox cannot hit, pitch or catch the ball.

He's already pitched more innings than last season and this is his first year as a starter since 2018. Growing pains were inevitable.
