GT 7/5: MIN @ SOX, The day after

Building an entire roster out of players who are best suited to play 1B or DH and still not being able to hit for power or draw walks is quite a feat. Bravo, Rick Hahn.

  • People need to start accepting this team just isn’t good. They’ve given us no reason all year to think it’s a playoff team.   The rebuild is in peril.

  • Reinsdorf needs to sell. He doesn’t give a shit about anything besides trying to win on his own terms.  Him and Tony just need to leave this franchise and go b**** about the status of the game elsewhe

I'm at the lowest point of my fandom as an adult. That's all. A very solipsistic view but one I'm sure is shared by quite a few people around 30-50.

Hard to do damage when you swing at garbage

Lol weak

Of course a ground ball….

Not staying up for this shit. Have a good night guys

Great hold of the bag by Arraez there.

Tweaked something.  Hammy maybe.

Our roster construction is not aligned with GRF home run friendly confines.  We have given up our home field advantage, thru our lack of homers.  Lots of investments on relievers with no power hitting lefties in lineup,  not the right priorities by FO and others.

There is plenty of power in the current lineup. The question is why have these guys all turned into ground ball singles hitters?

The lack of power from this team is shocking.

The old ass managers philosophy

JR just wants you to come to the stadium and spend money so he can pocket the change and use it on the golf course in Arizona every year.

I blame Tony for a lot of things, but I think the opposite field heavy approach and selling out for contact is an organizational philosophy.

Nice pick, what a horrible play by Moncada.  It's like a fucking beer league with their D.

Fangraphs will give him huge defensive numbers for that play at third

Lopez lights out again but I'm sure Kelly will continue getting high leverage opportunities over him

If it would only been ground ball singles would be OK, however most of the ground balls have been outs including plenty of double play balls.

Brings back the old days of the KW era where the Twins owned the Sox.

I have read that sentiment here a few times.

Ain't gonna happen.

Reinsdorf's son will take over for Jerry .

Why is Sheets ever allowed to bat against a lefty?

at least Tony waited until bottom 6 to finally throw in the towel on tonight's game, eh

When you have 12 outs left to score 4 runs, it’s fine to give an out away
