Probably because Sheets has been one of the more productive hitters in the lineup since they called him back up and 34 yr old Pollock hasn't done squat in that time period.

Do you ever actually look at stats ? Eloy doesn't play RF , Pollock hasn't played RF since the 1st week he got here. Your choice in RF is Sheets,Vaughn or Engel.

Just because of the nature of going deep into counts, as BB% rises, so does K%. It's just logic. Obviously too many Ks are a bad thing at a certain level.

The Kimbrel option pick-up was such a bad move. Forced you to get an older Pollock who was probably fair enough (ish) value for Kimbrel at the time - the reality is you could have just had $15M to spend on whatever the heck you wanted all along and actually focused on getting a competent right fielder who swung left handed to balance your line-up (or leveraging the $15M on other holes and using some trade resources to fill RF).  The list of things the front office did wrong is long -> just as the list of things TLR and the coaching staff has done is long and awful too.

Agree with the Play Harrison part of this %1000. Of all the stupid, senseless things TLR does, his obsession with playing Leary so much is the most baffling to me. Doesn’t he see Leary’s stats? Wasn’t he at the game last to see how well Harrison played and how his bat is coming around? Harrison is a better defender at 2nd?

Has any one of the other coaches asked Tony what is his deal with continually playing Leary. It makes no sense. So frustrating.

Plus amost the same amount Hahn picked up Kimbrel's option for was spent on injured Joe Kelly with a clause he couldn't pitch in back to back games until July 1st !

When is the last time anybody other than Cease was ready to pitch in the first inning?
