  • The most passionate we've seen TLR during this tenure with the White Sox is when he was absolutely burying his own player for hitting a home run when he wasn't supposed to.

  • It’s hard to imagine a manager ever having a worse season that Tony.  Sucks on the field and players not getting along in the clubhouse.  He truly killed this franchise.

  • I thought this was funny.

Get ready for 2023, because its probably the last shot at anything competitive we have. Make moves TODAY for NEXT YEAR.

Absolutely, no rentals and look to trade guys like Cueto, Pollock and Abreu.   If anyone wants Yoan, Giolito (for a big package) or Grandal, make it happen.

SELL SELL SELL

Steve Stone has no idea what’s going on lol

what an embarrassment of an organization

will the water carriers ask why TLR decided to int walk someone 0-1?

I used to complain about this during last season when I felt like this team had no killer instinct. That was due to their manager putting out a I'm punting this game lineup every time we had a chance to sweep a series

You could see it slowly happening last year, but this team has absolutely morphed into The demeanor of their manager.

They are complacent, they lack energy, and don't seem to care.

Youre right. If winning were important, they would go tell LaRussa to get lost in between games. Every postgame press conference, he's as sleepy as his players played that day.

It's time JR, KW, and RH showed some life and did something.

Yes, yes they did

Intentional walk at 0-1 now lol

Just managerial incompetence.  Probably wasn’t paying attention.

JR should see the silver lining here. He felt terrible for firing TLR all those years ago, he gave him another shot at redemption, and actually it just validated JR's initial move that TLR sucks.

Throw the guy a pitch, for a strike, and then put him on first.

Wat?

But didn't in a 1-0 game?  Infuriating and dumbfounding simultaneously.

At least he's consistent with this?

Telecast no longer holding back on calling out LaRussa's in game idiocies.

It's like if green light was given from up above.

Sort of like when Stacey King was just clowning Jim Boylen during the telecasts right before he was dumped.

I am convinced Hahn is going to go for it and trade away Montgomery for another flop.

My struggle with this is I don't want Hahn making decisions right now. This is gonna be like Stan Bowman trading for Seth Jones.

I’m actually beginning to think Tony and Hahn get fired in a week.  KW takes over as acting GM.

Is he flabbergasted by the decision making today? I can't watch right now.

Wont work.  For the Sox it's a lateral or regressing move.  Probably end up with some more NL guys that will fail.   For me history says more than the baseball vacuum.  I'd keep Cueto.  Pitching is overpriced.  Looking bad not signing Rodon was a bad move.

Man, that Ramirez decision is just the perfect example of the entire TLR problem. My goodness.

The irony is Reinsdorf did more to hurt TLR's reputation than fix any "mistake" he had made. TLR will always be looked at as a laughingstock, even in Cardinals territory. I have a lot of Cardinals friends and they ask me how its going with him. They are all well aware even if the national audience isnt.

He could not answer Jason’s question on why you would intentionally walk Ramirez on an 0-1 count. Literally couldn’t form a sentence without chuckling

How can anyone watch this game and think the manager should keep his job.  Terrible decisions and a team putting forth no effort.
