Six is more than enough with the way Sox hitters have looked. Hell, one might be.

  • I want everything thrown at this game. Get a cortisone shot in Lynn’s knee, steroids into Leury, adderol for TA, shock collar to moncada for any strike three not swung at. A real wizard of o

Lynn has bad knees from carrying all that extra weight around for all these years. The first thing a DR tells you is to lose weight to lessen the load on your joints. He is a friggen professional

I find it interesting how many people here make fun of Lance Lynn for his weight, while we all love Cueto. Who is also a fat ass. Lol Baseball history is riddled with fat asses that performed jus

Win tomorrow and it's all good.

turning the game off after 2 innings, i hate lynn

Did the same. Gonna have a few cold ones. Win tommorow. Figure it out after ASB

Okay two positives:

1. if the Sox lose the next two, there’s more of a chance that they pull TLR out of the dugout.

2. If the Sox come back and win this game, that’ll likely be the spark they need to start playing to their potential.

That’s all I got.

Amazing how it’s the vets that keep letting this team down.

with a big exception of Abreu.

Have to really work hard to stay in this game past your mid-thirties anymore.

Ironic that Lynn’s only about half the way to Kaat’s 25 years and might be nearing the end,

Did not expect Lynn to be the worst starter in baseball this year. Hope he’s just getting back from injury and lack of spring training or something…

Looking for a Guaranteed Rate commercial I guess.

Cost the Sox another game (huge game)...I like Lynn..his attitude, etc..but..these pitches he has aren't good enough...nothing special...it's like the feeling (for me) about Keuchal...just..too old now..doesn't have it

So disappointing he didn’t lose any weight after struggling with the knee injury to end last season.  Guarantee he would have if he was a free agent.

Lynn is worse than Davis Martin...

That’s really not even close to an example of irony. Couldn’t be less related.

Apropos of nothing

Lance Lynn rhp
2 years/$38M (2022-23), plus 2024 option

  • 2 years/$38M (2022-23), plus 2024 club option
    • signed extension with Chicago White Sox 7/17/21
    • 22:$18.5M, 23:$18.5M, 24:$18M club option ($1M buyout)
    • award bonuses for top 3 finish in Cy Young vote

Ouch, Lance.

With Lynn becoming a gas can and kopech needing clear rest the second half this rotation is in a lot of trouble. Cueto really has been a godsend.

Yes...

Fwiw, Lynn wasn’t very good when he signed with the Twins in mid to late March, either.

So this isn’t a total shocker.  Restarting mid year is never easy unless you are in pretty top physical condition like a Luis Robert.

the new keuchel

i didnt think we had much a chance of winning his start in this series

we cant hit bundy and lance is a gas can.

Homers rule in this series.  Need strong pitching to minimize homers. Not with Lynn though.  Sox normally have an advantage over the Twins in pitching and the Twins have an advantage in power/ homers.  Lynn is now our 5 th starter not good enough to rein in the Twins.

No contest there....Harper is on the DL.

If you give up 5 runs in an inning, does the ump even bother checking if you were using the sticky stuff?

I have to stop reading those Jay Cuda tweets...they usually just depress me.

Do they take away the runs if he finds sticky stuff or double the runs scored?

Lynn is carrying too much weight for his age and those knees.  Sox also do not have the best trainers in the bigs.

Cease

Kopech

Cueto

If they ain't starting, fuggedaboutit

The  problems CWS had going into last winter's meetings have yet to be addressed:

Giolito is not that solid either.
