Why couldn't they just get buried last week instead of giving false hope?

I found it interesting. It's fine that you don't. If it pisses you off that much, find a new hobby.

So we don't pinch hit for Leury in games but Tim Anderson sure.  Just retire you corpse.

Yeah but I’ll take the guy who can at least put the ball in play versus the guy who all of a sudden couldn’t take a walk or have any feel for the strike zone

But Charlotte numbers lol?

Eloy should be up right here but nah, let’s go with a guy who can’t hit a beach ball so far this year

Because Yas is a lefty and TLR loves matchups above everything else.

Then we wouldn't have pending trades for Soto and Ohtani.

Except how can he justify no Leury over Pollock?

Probably trying to help AJ get to $13 million for 2023.

Grandal's strikeout rate is lower than Eloy's by almost 10%. Grandal also has a higher batting average, if all you're looking is to put the ball in play or get a single. But trying to differentiate between the 2 doesn't make much sense when they've both been terrible.

Struggling to even throw 92 mph.  He’s so cooked.

Burger gets that ball.

Just kidding.

Giolito has looked shell shocked ever since the Kwan liner.

this game is just going stupid as fuck

hitting dribblers for hits all over

Really hated Gio right out of the break.  Should’ve been Cueto

The division is so bad, it'll take awhile to bury them.

bro its been a bunch of duck snorts and bad luck

Team looks dead again.  All star break killed the momentum.

Lucas poslito

Except for the leadoff single in the 1st and the Homer, the exit velos have been pretty soft.

Wonder if Kwan will bunt or go for knockout blow...?

Well this seems to be going according to expectations.

When Giolito had 13 IP, 1 ER against CLE and nine days off already?

It certainly hasn't helped rapidly decelerating FB numbers.

Bullpen has to be up...DH tmrw be damned.

Everyone is well rested now.

Too many excuses for Giolito this season, for whatever reason he gets a pass for his terrible performance

Finally a weak flyball into the outfield is caught

Astros 29 games over and swept the hated Yankees yesterday.

Fuck this team
