It's hard to watch him.  The few hacks he takes are on dead meat fastballs he can't even handle (whiffs, fouls off, or pops out). 

If you can't square up a dead center fat fastball in this league, you have no chance in this league.

If he's still hurting he belongs on the IL. 

If not, he belongs on the bench as Burger's late inning defensive replacement.  Maybe that would wake him up.

Maybe Moncada should stop switch hitting. Pick a side, LH or RH and stay with it every time up. Maybe Mendocino can have his bat speed from both sides measured along with other data to make that decision easier.
