Other competent teams wouldn't try this hard to make those 2 guys outfielders. Truer words have never been spoken.  Hahn has ignored defense throughout the rebuild.  It was fine when it was early on - but overtime it became completely inexcusable and was really just a sign from someone who really couldn't put together the right top to bottom roster.  Yes - some of these guys have talent - but you also have to optimize the entire roster and build out a complete roster - they never did it.  Rick never did it.  He consistently prioritized other things for reasons I won't pretend to know or just spend assinine amounts of cumulative money on role players when it could have went to difference makers.  Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
