So did Cleveland just give up and punt this game because they know they have a long series coming where their starters and relievers could use rest, and figured the White Sox were likely to burn one of their better starters?

When a team is -150 on the road after a loss against a 1st place team that just swept a team. Something smells in Denmark as they say. Especially with the guy they threw out there.

Glad that he did it this way . we have a different game if he moved up McKenzie.

This game reminds me of when we clinched the division last year. I think we hit like 5 homers off Civale.

Elvis has left the building !!!

Elvis joins the homer party

'drussssssssssss

and you get a HR!!!!

They are.

Sox should keep piling on and try and force Tito's hand.

Holy crap!!! Have we ever hit 5 in a game all year? I feel like we've gone 10+ games without 5...

Everyone hits a homerun...Frank in shambles.

I'll admit I don't get this strategy from Cleveland's side unless they're just treating this like an offday for their pitching staff. Gaddis clearly hasn't shown anything more than he did in his previous start, this is really quite awful.

YAY 5 TIMES!!!@

Cleveland really gave us a gift today. And unlike the rest of the year, in the Miggy era the White Sox actually take advantage.

Neon Moncada just missed #2

Minnesota has been destroying the Royals. You just hope they go into Cleveland hot cause we need help. I think we're better off having 3 teams lumped together as opposed to us being 3-4 games back of Cleveland.

I think with the news of cedar point retiring the dragster coaster due to safety concerns, they should announce their newest rollercoaster guaranteed to speed thru ERA like nothing else in the world...the Gaddis!

Why did this stupid team wait so long to be fun and interesting. ?

This is basically a forfeit game from them.   If the division lead was smaller you don't see this guy.

Just imagine had we not lost against the Rockies and A's the last 4 days. We'd be playing to be a game back.

Yea, we'd have McKenzie and a totally different game.

Is TA coming back?  I really want to see him unrestricted with power bat.  I'm convinced these guys were neutered.

Maybe they do throw McKenzie if we're just 1 or 2 games back. But they also have 5 against the Twins coming up in 4 days. They only have themselves to blame for postponing this game until now. They've basically created their own pitching conundrum.
