I'm taking Andrus/June/Infected hang nail. 

I guess 4-6 weeks is usually the standard response with this surgery. Matt Holiday had it in 2011, and like Adam Dunn, returned in about a week. The Cardinals said 4 to 6 weeks at first.

Sorry, haven't run into too many of these. Orthopedic injuries are my specialty.

I'll leave this one to the other experts in this board. 

Eloy is fine he still has his table of contents.

He played 3 games at Birmingham, on the 24th, 25th, and 26th. He did not play the last 2 days. He went 1/8, with 4 walks - 3 of those on Thursday, when he had 6 plate appearances.

Eloy is the best hitter on the White Sox. He brings a level of excitement that few other players on the team can each time he steps in the box. He is not an easy out like some other players on the team have been this season in key situations.

Anyway, what difference does it make when your starting pitcher gives up a grand slam and your relievers can't hold a lead?

One player and even an entire offense can only do so much to help a team win.  Sox pitchers have been inconsistent and mostly dreadful this season. But hey, why not make Eloy or Tim Anderson the scapegoats ?

No one is making them scapegoats but they are a LARGE part of the issues going on (and off) the field with this club. That's a fact not conjecture.

Hell they can't even stay healthy for a few months at a time.

The best player EVER in baseball is worthless if they actually aren't playing.

They've actually been turning their season around without him, lol...at least from a W/L standpoint.
