Sox vs. Seamen, Sunday version

It’s so sad and typical that the story of this game has become the franchise strikeout record, the announcers and everything about the energy around this seems to care not a single iota about the stated purpose of this game. Who the hell cares about the franchise record for strikeouts. Win the goddamned game.

After reading this, I said to myself, great we are becoming the Cubs

Good teams find ways to win games. Bad teams find ways to lose them. This is a bad team.

  • Grifol awful arrogant for a team 11 games under, he is delusional.

Happy Father's Day gentlemen. Enjoy the game although few will be watching.

When Sox tied the MLB 20 strikeout record, Lopez started that game.

I would just like to point out during the last Lynn start I mentioned that he needs to start using a curveball. Next appearance he starts to use one and strikes out 16 guys

He must be checking out Sox talk.

Awful

No, he broke the iPad.

Why do they keep forcing Lopez into high leverage situations? He continues to fail every time they ask him to do it.

Had him down 0-2 with two outs. Then walks. And walks.

Atta boy, Jarred!  :lolhitting

And bird brain melts down again....

I don't know the percentage of times something goes bad after a mound visit from Katz, but it seems damn high.

Grifol needs to be fired.

What’s the over/under on the number of pitches needed to finish this game? 9?

Because we have a crappy manager that doesn’t manage bullpen well, and does not adjust and keeps repeating the same mistakes over and over.

By a new GM.

It's sad when a guy on his computer watching the game and paying attention to Gameday can see more clearly than Grifol he had to be taken out before that triple.

So much for Seattle emptying its bullpen yesterday being a big advantage today for the Sox.

This damn team....pitching is good, offense got nothin.

Been that way since to Tampa win to end the streak.

Team is wandering lost lead by the clueless Manger and all of baseball following.

Lopez is awful
