Those 3 you mentioned all had very good years and Luis Aparicio had his highest BA in his career at .313 winding up 4th in the AL in hitting.
It’s the pitching that was really bad in 1970, last in the AL with a 4.54 ERA.

I don't see the Sox drawing that many in any remaining game, with the Yankees a weeknight series. Would say a big influx of fans from Milwaukee is their best chance to break the 30K threshold.

No surprise here.  The Sox sucked earlier in the season and now they suck even more after the trades.
