GM and manager need to go.  Both from a failed KC franchise.  What baseball person would have ever hired these guys?  This team is a disgrace to baseball.

JR who honestly thinks he's smarter than everyone else in baseball.

Does anyone else check in on this thread periodically wondering "oh  no, what did this idiot say/do this time?"

It’s all about the money.

Always is with him, first, last and in-between. But that doesn't discount his ego.

After listening to Garfein interviewing him, I want Sergio Santos to be the next Sox manager.

Yes, but that’s every thread for me.

Why does this sound accurate to Pedro

For the record, this thread has been relegated to page 2, while on page 1, there is a thread that starts with a hypothetical scenario that results in Pedro winning manager of the year.

"Megalopolis" will win Picture of the Year in at least one country of the world before this White Sox organization wins 60+ games at the big league level...

This kind of comment is why it went to page 2

You are largely responsible for jinxing Marvel/DC...at least until Deadpool/Wolverine hits the metroplexes.

At any rate, SoxTalk probably needs some more threads about how Getz Grifol and JR suck in the meantime.

And more pseudo-eclectic Jeep Wrangler talk from Downtown Brown as well.

Bangers, all

What a jackass. "Actually?".

“Love, Actually”

“Uneventful day,” said Grifol after praising Yankees starter Luis Gil and New York’s home run power. “We just got our ass kicked.”

I wonder what the  skipper's reasoning was in wheeling Flexen out there in the 5th to face Soto and Judge, after he had given up a homer to Babe Berti in the 4th.  And then after the single to Soto, he still won't make a move.  Any of those relievers he used to mop up the rest of the game would have made more sense.

It's like he doesn't even watch the game and how it is proceeding.

Getting swept in Toronto would put the Sox at 14-36 after 50. I doubt they fire him Thursday, but he certainly deserves it no matter the roster they have,

If they lose the next five/six straight I still think around Memorial Day.

Grifol said, “When our stadium is, I wouldn’t necessarily say completely full, when we have 20,000-plus there, it’s loud and it’s energetic and it brings a lot of energy to our players and players feed off of it. I’m really looking forward to the days where we are winning consistently to see what it really sounds like.”

what an asshat.

I like how he is using lack of fan support as an excuse for the team losing without having the balls to say it.  Grifol is a coward and a clown.
