Dead last in revenue in the MLB and two years in a row of decline in franchise valuation when everyone else is going up in value (some franchises significantly going up). He's either oblivious to this franchise's problems or just doesn't care.Firing Getz would likely mean some equally inept loyalist would take his place - probably with TLR involved in the selection process.Hey, he moved Hawk from the broadcast booth to GM once, maybe next time he can do the same with Schriffen! And when people doubt Getz, or his ability to turn around the Sox, a large piece of it is because of the Jerry factor. We saw first hand JR sabotage Hahn, Williams, and every GM and AGM before them. I sure don't have faith that he isn't going to knecap Chris too.

Yesterday at 04:19 AM1 day I know it's Jerry, but what's the record the Sox have to have before stopping Getz from being present at the MLB Draft? I'm convinced Getz is gonna try and outsmart everyone and try to a find a slappy, no-power infielder for the first pick.

GTFO. NOW!
Yesterday at 11:16 AM1 day 30. Chicago White Sox (6-10)Grant Taylor boasts the enviable combination of elite extension (how far down the mound a pitcher gets before releasing the ball) and elite velocity, meaning his heater is particularly daunting for hitters, and his breaking balls play up in turn. He isn’t the closer — in fact, he has served as the “opener” in four of his seven appearances — but Taylor already has a strong case as Chicago’s best bullpen arm, no matter how much the White Sox are paying Seranthony Dominguez to pitch the ninth.Yahoo.com/sports

18 hours ago18 hr So, for discussion purposes only, what moves would you make in the next week or so if you were the GM? Who would be in your line-up, in your rotation, and in the bullpen ? Would you bring up Hagen Smith, Tanner McDougal, Caleb Bonemer, Sam Antonacci, Braden Montgomery... and if so, who would be moved down or out to make room for them?My first moves at this time would be to DFA Benintendi and Acuna. My starting outfield would be Antonacci (LF), Everson Periera/Derek Hill (CF) , and Braden Montgomery (RF). I would want to see McDougal up asap, at least as a set-up man in the bullpen. Not sure what I would do with the rotation, especially when pitchers are promoted from AAA and Shane Smith comes back. Perhaps a trade will be in the works at some point.Just my opinions..

Biggest problem on team headed for 125ish wins record-wise.
