  • If this is supposed to be referring to me, my comment had nothing to do with the person. You had a poster LOL someone who was murdered over an opinion. That's scummy.

He was on Conan O'Brien's podcast somewhat recently with Dave Grohl and Krist Noveselic talking about engineering Nirvana's In Utero

His earlier stuff is also covered pretty heavily in the book/audiobook "Our Band Could Be Your Life" about the rise of the indie rock underground in the 80's that paved the way for the "alt rock" commercial success in the 90's. I think he toned down the Gen X edgelord contrarianism he was known for in his earlier days, but he was always a prickly asshole (in a good way). Very firm stance on the ethics regarding the music industry and royalties. Famously never took any and only charged his hourly rate to record and engineer an album.

Richard Sherman, co-creator (with his brother) of music for many Disney movies and theme park rides, has died at age 95.

Their song "It's a Small World" is possibly the most played song in the world.

Call 988 to reach the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. It provides free and confidential support 24 hours a day, seven days a week for people in suicidal crisis or distress. You can learn more about its services here, including its guide on what to do if you see suicidal language on social media. You can also call that number to talk to someone about how you can help a person in crisis. For crisis support in Spanish, call 1-888-628-9454.

I agree, he was a terrific actor. The headline I saw said "Hunger Games" actor Donald Sutherland has died. Can you believe summarizing his long and varied acting career that way? Very odd.
