I used to be excited for this type of stuff.

I bought two tickets to opening day on Wednesday.  Found out a couple other folks wanted in.  The seats next to us were still open.

Going to be a sad home opener.

They were pretty cheap considering it was opening day and they were lower deck. Incredibly sad state of affairs.  Even when they were god awful the opener was a tough ticket to get.

Elko is quite intriguing to me.  He's absolutely the type of guy you rush.  Send him straight to AAA and see if you've got anything

Always nice to beat the Cubs regardless of if the game counts or not.

Imagine seeing that lineup, spring training opener or not, as a flash forward in 2019. You'd think it was a split squad game, you'd PRAY it was a split squad game.
