January 9, 20251 yr My Dad worked as a dock hand most of his adult life and he told me he once had a boss who said "No one, and I mean no one is worth $5 a hour." Life is funny.

January 9, 20251 yr So, we’re up to $14.35M between Rojas, Vaughn, and Perez. That’s about one year of Ha-Seong Kim. Personally, I’d rather have Kim than those three and give Vargas/Elko a look at 1b.
January 9, 20251 yr Way way overpaid for a pathetic career WAR guy. Should have cut bait. Edited January 9, 20251 yr by Soxfest

January 9, 20251 yr It's only 1yr/$5.8M. If he has another below avg season he's an easy non-tender next year and they upgrade the position when they will actually have some money to spend. If he goes out and has an above avg season he's an easy tender and possible trade candidate. This is a no brainer move.
