I think its fair to say if they do not produce they couldn't even be traded for anybody decent. That being said, it will be curious to see how this plays out. If those guys actually hit, it’ll be a long year lol

T R U
3 hours ago, Bob Sacamano said: I said this a couple of weeks ago but they should have been willing to include close to $10M, which is about how much they would pay him if they trade him July 31 anyway. Include $10M? Thats nuts, we’ll just keep him and pay him $40M instead. Much better. 1

Never seen anything like this, and it’s happened to four guys recently. That is a mystery. This team seems cursed having TLR and Grifol but the constant is JR. There's probably a lot more about this organization that just seems cursed that we will never hear about until JR is long gone and probably not in my lifetime,

Lip Man 1
"That success hasn’t quite carried over to the regular season. Robert finished 0-for-4 with three strikeouts, including the strikeout to end the game against reliever Will Vest, and is 4-for-25 (.160) with one extra-base hit, two walks and nine strikeouts through the first seven games." greg775
At 2-5 the new manager has to be concerned. Got to win next game vs detroit and show we can win four of every nine. 4-5 of every nine would mean a decent season. Crucial stretch here to determine whether we just stink or royally stink.

The White Sox are NOT a 72-90 team (.444 winning percentage). They will be quite fortunate to get out of the 50s. I was on the trade him for whatever you can get in the offseason train because I only saw his value diminishing the longer they held on to him. There’s at least a 50/50 chance he goes the way of Moncada. By that I mean finishes this season with the Sox and they decline to pick up his option for next season, getting nothing in return for him. He’s brutal at the plate now.

They better get that in check before people get scared. Not sure how old the Tweet was but the gist was guys who looked like parking attendants were demanding 40 bucks a car. Demanding 40 bucks a car? To park where? Dude. The Sox don't even accept cash for a beer let alone for parking. I assume that the Chicago Police were on that as they are all around the park on game days.

They interviewed people who said if you denied giving the 40 they flattened tires, etc. The cash was just to get off the Ryan exit. Pretty intense stuff. They had some video. The 40 bucks was like a toll to be allowed to get near the parking lots. Cops came on one video and the thugs scattered. If it's true it's just another reason for fans not to venture to any games with a team this rotten. Edited April 5 by greg775
