There's no question this lineup is actually worse than last year's. If Beni's not healthy and we get only single digit homers from him and Vaughn only hits 15ish homers certainly this team will have less HR power than any team in Sox annals.

Where's Tommy Pham when you need him? Who picked him up? Any way we could find Viciedo? Where is he? How bout Abreu? Where's he playing? It'd be interesting to at least employ Abreu. Hosmer still isn't 40. Sign him up. Also Moustakas isn't 40. Just put some name players out there to fail instead of our current stiffs. And Magrigal. Sign him too for minimum. ... Why is Robert doing so poorly. That's kind of embarrassing he's no good apparently.

I agree - I think they lose around 105-115. I expect a really bad start but when some of the young players come out we will see a bit of momentum (if you can even call it that).

I can easily see them losing 110+, and that following a 121-loss season already has to be in all-time bad territory. So imagine if they somehow break 121.

Honestly though, this team is definitely worse than last year’s but I still think they’ll accidentally win more than last season.

I believe the Mets hold the record at 231 losses over 2 seasons.  They followed their 120 loss season with 111. So that’s the target number.
