It’s amazing how many Red Sox fans still love the guy and are rooting for him.  It’s the exact opposite of the usual fans that don’t want to see the prospects they give up in a big trade to excel too much and make the trade look bad for them.

Because he's the closest to Pedroia and Youkilis.

Kristian Campbell is too athletically gifted to easily identify with...

It was a gorgeous day in Chicago? It's 47 damn degrees Stone. That's a bit chilly for mid April.

It was in the 50s and sunny today. Took the dog for a walk and it was pretty nice in the sun.

It makes sense to give Sosa a run at 1B.  It’s a bit too early to give up on him but Meidroth may make him positionless soon.

Just put Sosa there everyday for now. Get rid of Vaughn when Rojas is ready. Get rid of Amaya when Ramos is ready. Or do it the other way or whatever.

I haven't lived in the upper midwest in 25 years. I'm spoiled. I've largely forgotten how much of a slow burn early spring is. I b**** about our rain and horrific dark winters but April in the PNW is pretty damn nice.

It's for sure a tease. This weekend is supposed to be in the 60s and then it hangs around 50/60s for the next week or so.

Stone took a couple days off to get the talking points on Vargas.

None of them matter unless he's at least a 650-675 ops hitter at least...really needs to be over 700 to not be a replacement player.

They're not going to cut a $5/6 million hitter this early when it's such a long season.

Sosa has more use than Vaugh, though they both looked clueless there...
