Don’t know anything about the prospects the Yankees gave up, but if the Rockies got anything useful back for McMahon it gives me some more hope about a Robert return

The one pitcher they got is having a great year at quick glance.

A deal must be close.  It’s one thing to not want him to get injured before the deadline, but they would have to sit him for another week.

It would have to be pretty damn close for him to not be listed in the lineup 4 hours before the game.

Throw in Houser and a RP also (not Taylor) s and NYM can also add in Clifford as well, as @Chicago White Sox mentioned.

To NYM: Robert (salary retention, not that Cohen cares too much), Houser, any reliever not named Grant Taylor

To CWS: OF AJ Ewing, OF Drew Gilbert, DH/1B/OF Ryan Clifford

Who says no?

3 OF from one organization not likely to happen no matter what you're giving up.

Getz is going to have a hard time getting any decent upside hitting prospects. If he does it'll probably be no power upside guys who can play decent defense and good plate discipline.

Getz is probably getting offers of pitching now. That's just the way the market has been shaping up so far in the early trades. You might get some AA arms but position players in the Vargas mold or A ball 45 value guys . More projects than prospects.

The return is gonna bum me out regardless. It is so rare for the Sox to have a top 10 prospect or a potential 5 tool talent. For it to end this way with Robert is sort of crushing. It’s the way it has to be, but I am going to mourn what might have been.

It's been a little closure seeing him play well the last couple weeks.

Bwahahahaha…  get rid of this scrub already.  He’s a walking injury just like his bust brothers.  He will find a way to get injured within this last week before the deadline, won’t he?

I'm sure people come finger wag this, but Luis Robert has the loudest tools I've ever seen a White Sox player have and it bums me out to this day that they (Robert and the org) couldn't maximize his talent.
