Lowball offers to him for players That's probably also happening too....at some point the clock forces both sides to get real if you really want someone.
July 31, 2025Jul 31 If opposing GMs are really giving us shitty offers, keep our guys. We got enough junk in this org.

If anyone asked, I'm sure we'd entertain talks on anybody (at least I'd sure hope so). It's not like we have untouchables.

Wouldn't you rather Getz ask for the moon, and settle later if no one meets the price, as opposed to just taking a garbage offer? I don't really get why any Sox fan would have a problem with the approach he is taking.

Because the longer you hold out trying to get your unrealistic demands accepted, teams move on to other players that other GM’s are actually willing to part with for something realistic. Then you wind up with your hand holding your schvonce.

I think the criticism is they asked for the moon and the other team went somewhere else and never came back, although this hasn't been proven to be true yet.

His track record is terrible. Get what you can and move on, they already gambled this year he would bounce back he fell flat on his face.

July 31, 2025Jul 31 would be appropriate for this to be resolved on the 88th page. let's get it done.

July 31, 2025Jul 31 Rosenthal just said on Foul Territory he expects Robert to be dealt and essentially thinks the sox are posturing by saying they'll pick up Robert's option Edited July 31, 2025Jul 31 by whitesoxwinner
