Buehler has done a good job getting out of trouble and making pitches when he needed to, but there are just too many black holes in this lineup that we know if the "good" players don't get it done then there's no shot. You can't have a 6 era and be considered an indispensable rotation member unless you're on the White Sox or Rockies...his actual ERA is in the 4's but going along with your individual game performance analogy in the post.
