Any confirmation?    That's a VERY interesting move, considering how poorly he has pitched recently.  As others have noted, they might be hesitant about using a Dunn (arguably the most consistent Knights' starter so far) if they're not currently on the 40 man roster, leaving the decision between Iriarte and White, who just got blasted in his last start for Charlotte after coming into the game with a sub 2.00 ERA.

One thing is for sure, Minnesota's pissed after getting swept by the Braves and blowing a late 4-1 lead in one particularly-frustrating loss.

Huh. Iriarte has looked like crap every time out this year. There’s very little on his fastball and his command has been awful. Of the two, Nastrini has been better and he’s on the 40 man too. This would be a head scratcher, especially since they need someone in that spot moving forward. I would still do Vasil or B. Wilson, but maybe this is with an eye to the long term.

The only thing I can think of at the moment is that Iriarte DIDN'T pitch against Minnesota once last season...but that's a pretty sketchy theory about choosing between Nastrini and Iriarte.

Going through Nastrini's record, he managed to pitch against TOR twice but never faced the Twins, either.

 

So that leaves the fact that it's probably closer to Iriarte's natural turn in the rotation...would have to double check that, but it's whatever at this point.

What difference does it make? Neither Iriarte nor Nastrini is any good.

I think we should definitely start Iriarte if the twins are pissed

Bad teams can get pissed and still be bad. They are just angry and bad.

Hopefully McKenzie is taking this turn in the rotation next week.

If you think about it does it even really matter with those guys? Sosa MAYBE the only one worth playing time anyway.

How is it that there is nobody else for SS.  Like, not one person.  Amaya can’t hit water falling out of a boat and is somehow immovable from the lineup because of his defense
