He.Gets.Chicago.Now Jayden Daniels, meanwhile...his durability at that size was always a question mark. Maye has obviously been great, too. One second half against Buffalo from clinching MVP. Not seeing Moore/Mendoza coming anywhere close to that class. Edited December 21 by caulfield12
chw42
This was Caleb's breakout moment. The throws to Walker and Moore were absolutely insane. It's crazy how he just activates when he's in gotta have it situation.

This was like watching a Eberflus defense. They sat in zone all game and never got much pressure rushing 4. Allen getting beat deep twice in the last matchup made him extremely conservative. It would have worked better if the offense didn't keep stalling right outside FG range for most of the game.
chw42
I haven't been around long enough to see Bears Packers games from the 90s...so my experience in this rivalry has mostly been the Packers kicking our ass after the Lovie years. I know there's gonna be some recency bias in this, but this has to be the best Bears Packers game in the last 30 years right? I'm sure Packers fans might say the 2013 week 17 or 2018 week 1 might be better cause they won, but none of those games featured 10 pt come backs with 5 minutes left and a walk off touchdown in OT. Rex Grossman blew out Green Bay on opening day in 2006 26-0. That’s probably the most dominant game I have seen in this rivalry since it went belly up in favor of Green Bay. The win against the Packers in 2018 was pretty awesome too

MexSoxFan#1
Haha, I guess I'm older than most posters here, I was a teen in the 80s and I still remember when we would kick Green Bays ass year in and year out in the 80s. It's been very frustrating watching my Bears get embarrassed since the 90s Favre years to the 2010s Rodgers era except for that mid 2000s Lovie Grossman era where we beat an old Favre right before Rodgers owned us again...all that said, this win felt GOOD.
fathom
After listening to both, the Fox call of the last play was way, way better than Joniak’s. Not complaining, as Burkhardt’s call was amazing.
Quin
Another thing to take away from this: DJ and Caleb are developing chemistry. 1

Caleb has had a ton of options to throw to since day 1 with the Bears. This is probably the only time where DJ is our only good receiver still healthy. caulfield12
Since Jahdae Walker first stepped foot inside Halas Hall in May, his coaches and teammates have all shared a general consensus about the rookie receiver. He is different. His energy. His passion. His kid-like love for football. And, of course, his ability to invigorate his teammates with the highlight-reel talent he's displayed. "I've never met anyone as energetic, as charismatic as him," said defensive tackle Shemar Turner, who played with Walker at Texas A&M. "What I think he brings to a team is just that love for the sport and then that energy. When he scores a touchdown, you see how the whole sideline goes crazy, just because everybody has his back." https://www.chicagobears.com/news/jahdae-walker-blessed-for-the-opportunity-after-making-53-man-roster Edited December 21 by caulfield12

I like him a lot, think him and Tom are fun together, but he didn’t bring it on the call like normal.
The Beast
8 hours ago, Kyyle23 said: Good/Better/Best plus game balls I know that the team is more than just the players, but I wish Poles and Warren didn’t have to be there. Especially with the s%*# Warren pulled this past week. I still hope they end up in Arlington Heights instead of Gary, but even Fox did a special story on Gary’s development and opportunity with adding the Bears. One other question on my mind. Is losing the Bears tax revenue significant to Illinois? Seems like they should play ball on the infrastructure and come up with a fair property tax deal.
