Honestly, rest of the playoffs are gravy. I will be disappointed when/if they lose, but they LOST 10 IN A ROW LAST SEASON. I'm all about making the most of your window, but they just won a playoff game against the Packers.

They won a playoff game against the Packers in which they trailed by 18 at the half.  This team is doing tungsten-arm o’doyle stuff

Even this game was house money.

I said same thing before this game, and even better after it... but let's go get a win for once Bears. Why not??

I wish I could believe I’ll do this but I’ll be calling for DAs head next week as well

Viral clip incoming.  Caleb and friends wearing the cheese grater hats and Caleb grating the cheese with his tongue out.

Yeah I just saw that on the post game show. The kids may say a bit cringy, but hey, Chicago loves him and that’s all he needs to care about

Caleb cheeks in the first half of games.  Literally a God while losing in the 4th.  Unreal.

Need to somehow convince him the Bears are down 14 at the start of every game lol

lol that’s the exact same thought process I have with Williams. He goes from garbage to generational in a couple quarters. And every game I go through the same thought process

My kids got excited on first 4th down play and I told them “in the past, Packers get someone wide open down the field”

Chris Conte vibes.

This game was just unbelievable. I had hope at the start of the fourth quarter. And anxiety that they would blow it until that last play. They didn’t and my wife and I finally saw a playoff win.

Can’t wait for Sox guy to call the score and ask for Williams to be benched again

He put us in a predicament a missed FG got us out of.

I love games in Chicago history where the fans are in no hurry to leave the stadium. Cheers.

Like after the Podsednik walkoff, fans stayed for like 40 minutes

Where'd that Sox Guy poster go? 🤭

He dug the hole he got himself out of.  Literally Bart telling Homer he'll take up smoking, then quit it.  Yall are reacting like Homer did.  "I'm so proud of you, son".

Ben set up this team to be better than barely winning at the death due to a missed FG.  I still prefer they bench the guy.

People gotta remember that some great comebacks were due to incompetence.  atl-pats wasn't supposed to be that close.  Neither was 9ers-Cin in 89.  Buffalo was supposed to dogwalk oilers in 93.  Those "great comebacks"  were due to early choking.  Even the dodgers in the recent WS underachieved, they were expected to win more comfortably.  So honestly, meh.  We'll see next week.

at least the home curse might be lifted.  In a city very familiar with curses, something erie was going on.

I like these two snippets from The Athletic's live-write up.

Quote

I don’t care about Caleb Williams’ completion percentage. He’s become a guy you don’t want to be facing with the game on the line. Gamer.

That fourth-and-8 throw from Caleb Williams is legitimately one of the best throws I’ve ever seen considering the stakes and degree of difficulty.

Dude is unreal.

Ugh, flubs sign that cheater Bregman.

aigh, yall, congrats to the Monsters for getting the playoff monkey off they shoulder, they had the longest Chicago drought without making the final 8, and still, unbelievably, have the longest title drought in the city, which is completely surreal.

I expect a W next week against Eagles, who we beat in Fog Bowl, or Rams, who we sonned in the conference title game.  See yall then
