Tony
They don’t come close to winning this game under Flus, that’s the 2nd W this year that you can see the coaching had a lot to do with it
kwolf
Fun win. I despise the Washington deadskins, foreskins, commanders whatever they are. They can all piss the hell off. Lost to those bastards twice in the 80s on a way to a Super Bowl. Hawks win, Bears win, Sox did not lose. To quote Ice Cube, today was a good day. 1

A nice step in the right direction.
Lip Man 1
Another nail biter. I thought they could win six games but now with the injuries to Cincinnati and Baltimore, they can win eight, which would be a tremendous improvement.

In DC they’re known as the Commies. NU also with a nice win as a 20 point underdog. Makes up for the Illini and yeah, the Cubs for we who were rooting for Chicago.

If they win on Sunday, I think they’ll get aggressive in trying to get a pass rusher in here. Because they aren’t going anywhere with the lack of pressure they are currently generating. But the DB’s are solid, even without the best player on the team in JJ, they desperately need “that guy” to be a game wrecker up front.

I think not having Braxton with his bad leg on the left side helps the run game as well. Benedet isn't great but he has good enough mobility to pull on some of the outside runs. I really expected Caleb to play a lot better since we finally got the run game going, but I thought he played pretty poorly tonight for most of the game. A lot of his yards came on screens and short passes where it was really scheme and the receives doing most of the work. Poor accuracy on a lot of his throws. A couple of terrible decisions that probably should have resulted in picks where he didn't bother to read the defender post snap. But when the team needed it he converted a big 3rd and 5 and led a game winning drive. I don't remember the last time this team won 2 close games in a row and did pretty much everything right down the stretch. 2018? I don't know if it's sustainable, but Ben Johnson has the team executing in high leverage situations and that's a huge improvement on the trainwreck that was Eberflus. Flus was also winning mostly against backup QBs. We just beat Dak and Daniels.

Yea Lamar will be back, that game is in 2 weeks, but their defense has been hit with major injuries. Though they held the Lambs down last weekend so maybe they are getting healthy. A healthy, Lamar led Ravens team backed into a corner IN Baltimore is a death sentence. I'm not counting that one. Flus was a lousy coach, but there were a couple games last year where they could and probably should have won. Coaching and execution are showing up under this coaching staff and those close results are changing.
nrockway
Great game. Swift was incredible. Although I think a big part of it was a lot of clutch blocking, good play design. Next 4 are against the Saints, Ravens, Bengals, Giants. In my mind, the Bears are the favorite in all of those games and could go up to 7-2. I'm cautiously optimistic about this team. chw42
Refs really tried to f*** us in this game. I think there were like 3 penalties that nullified a stop on 3rd down. The illegal formation on the TD, the OPI on Loveland, the offsides on DJ were all calls a lot of crews easily let go. It felt like they were looking for penalties to call. This crew had the highest amount of penalties called coming into the game. They really wanted to add onto their lead.

Kyyle23
This helps a lot. If they can shore up the run defense it would make this defense fierce
bmags
That was an intense game, can’t believe they pulled it off. Weather looked nasty so I understand the nerves of just running heavy to go for a FG. I know people love broadcast talk, but Jesus that was a ridiculous broadcast. Aikman lecturing Caleb about fumbling a bad snap on 3rd and 1 (that he recovered) then not saying anything about Daniels doing the same. Ridiculous night

For how many yards we give up, we basically need to get turnovers to win.

Like yeah, I get it, he holds onto the ball too long sometimes, but they spent a good minute talking about how he fucked that play up.
