As Love was throwing that, it reminded me of the Bears doing that against the Lions last Thanksgiving. Too bad they still had time left after it was incomplete. It would have been glorious for that to happen for Eberflus against the Packers.

Yeah I think his career might be done. For a guy who relies on speed like him, that is not something you just come back from.

I am honestly surprised no one has tried him in gadget plays as a back or wide out sweeps, or something to get him the ball in the open field.

I’m not surprised at all.  His magic comes from the chaos in the break down of a play.  You put him in the backfield or line him up as a Wr it’s not the same as him dropping back and taking off because the DBs have their backs to him and the DL has overcommitted.  At that point he is running in a structure and is expected to hit a hole or run a route and that open field magic is much more dependent on the success of blockers or the route running.
