Shane Smith day: Sox @ Astros 6/10 7:10 CDT

Featured Replies

ESPN predictor has this one 59/41 Astros. For our club, that's about as good of odds as you can find on a road win. Lets hope Smith can deliver a big 6 innings and the offense can pick him up along with the pen.

This 7:10 start is bullshit. The new Sox 6:40 start is where it's at.

  • DFA and let Baldwin play 2b

Baldwin should never have left. Put him at 2nd base and 8th in the line up and let the kids play

Certainly more family friendly. Quite a few people have said how getting home before 10pm or around 10pm gets more kids into the park. I didn't like it at first but now yea, preferred. Get the games over at a reasonable time.

Taking the El home to Edgewater at night is nicer, even a half hour earlier.

Used to do that trip when I lived in Uptown, then started driving because it still took an hour+.

And with the pitch clock, probably closer to an hour+ earlier than before.

Hate it. Got small kids. 6:40 start places bedtime right around 7th, 8th and 9th. If I'm lucky I'll catch part of the 9th. Much prefer 7. But I get the appeal. Nothings gonna please everyone.

And as said above, games are over between 9-9:30 now it seems. Before when the games were 7:10 and no pitch clock, games were ending anytime between 10:15-10:30.

If this team is really taking a step forward I would like to see better road games. 3-3 on the trip would be a pleasant surprise. Especially considering we were 2-11 last year against TEX/HOU.

Hey, I thought this was Grant Taylor day?

I thought the step forward was being close to .500 at home but yea better than the current .188 on the road would be good like .350 😂. Still need the best odds in the draft lottery.

Just get Sosa or Baldwin in there for Rojas and this looks like a real offense almost.

Maybe it's just me but I'm not expecting much from Brooks even though he's hitting well in AAA. Might be where he belongs.

8:10 for me in Upstate NY. I can probably watch to about the 6th inning

That's rough.

Quero hurt?  noticed he's DHing, but he hasn't caught in a few games right?
