Over a .333 win percentage. The dream is coming true.

A 54 win team is a hell of a lot better than a 41 win team.

5 out of their last 7 against winning teams....56-106 pace on the year.

The conundrum of not wanting to be a historically bad team, but also wanting the #1 pick in the draft.

Quero GWRBI had the only hit for the Sox with RISP. 2 RBI 2 out single for the 2nd and 3rd runs.

.938 OPS with RISP last season and nearly 1.000 in late/close situations. He's a clutch guy, knack for finding the big hit.

I feel like Sox were outplayed tonight BUT not by so much that they couldn't sneak out a win. Last year they just never got those games where the other team was hitting into loud outs and lost because of it.

Robert had the game-winning RBI, but definitely a clutch hit by Quero.

Oh the 1st run is the winning run if you never lose the lead isn't it ? I always think of it as the run that was 1 more than the opposing team had. In this case the 3rd run.

Yeah, the game-winning RBI is the RBI that gives you the lead that you never relinquish.
