That moment was the peak of that core. From like a "heat index" perspective, that was the highest they would have been since 2005. And it was all downhill from there.

August 12, 2025Aug 12 I was on the phone with my dad, who was watching in Arizona and his feed was slightly ahead. I told him to try and not spoil it. I remember hearing him beginning to sound excited while TA was taking pitches on my screen and I went "I'm guessing he hit a walk off? He replied "HOW DO YOU KNOW???" One second later it was on my TV and god do I miss the vibes of that game.

I kept trying to follow the game on my phone using my IP masker to try to stream it.

Steinbrenner Field has the exact same dimensions as Yankee Stadium, a bit harder for a right handed hitter than a lefty hitter and Williams is a righty. Next year the Rays will be back at the Trop.
August 24, 2025Aug 24 Fun tidbit from Twins radio: Colson became the 3rd player this season to homer in three straight games in a series vs. the Twins. The other two are Cal Raleigh (who hit #48 and #49 today to set the single season catcher HR record) and Shohei (who hit #45 today).
August 25, 2025Aug 25 Colson could be one of those guys with a low-ish BA and big power numbers. If he's a perennial .240+, 35+ HR, 90+ BRI player with decent defense, I think we'd be pretty happy. As others have mentioned, his health is probably the biggest concern. One significant back injury and he's a flash in the pan.
