Disappointing to not sweep the Rockies

It’s tough to sweep a team, especially on the road. Just ask most of the teams that have played the Sox this year.

Yeah he’s been bad for awhile now. Sox fans (me included) get blue balls with thinking he’d be apart of the next core instead he may be JAG?

Vargas needs special handling. Meidroth needs some rest. Rotate.

1) I think its easy to see that Tim Elko has no place withe White Sox. I think the decent thing to do is either release him or trade him.  That being said this organization seems to have falling in love with Ryan Noda. He looks  like he couldn't hit me. 2) I know that Steve Stone signed some long term contract withe White Sox this off season. It seems like he is annoucing less and less.  If the game plan is to replace him I think that Dan Plesac would be a good replacement. He seems to like working for the team and i hope they keep him announcing the games.

I'd be down with a Tristan Gray for either Rojas or Noda swap. Gray could be a roving platoon with Vargas, Meidroth and Sosa. The reality is he's probably a lesser version of Rojas. I'm a fan of the roster churn.

Smith has really hit the wall.

The most he's ever pitched in a season is 94 innings. He's at 80 so its not surprising. He's another guy who barely pitched in college and needs to be built up for MLB innings.

So Rizzo finally pays for changing his mind with KW on that Edwin Jackson for Adam Dunn trade.

True but might as well bring him up for another Eder for Burger bad trade

Unless it's for the proverbial bucket of balls, I doubt any trade of Tim Elko would be a bad trade.

If the 1B gets PH for the C you don't need the 1B on the roster.

Yes, you get it lol

Edit: but we must carry a lumbering 1B to eventually fill the RF void.

A 3-3 road trip would have been nice and it should have happened except we blew the second game in LA.

I just don’t get why they’re not getting Teel more at bats vs RHP. Should have caught twice and DH once this series.

Because they care more about winning meaningless games than developing players?

Tristan Gray, a 30 year old infielder was added to the 40 man roster. Isn't that sort of move often a predicate to some sort of trade or DFA move, like Rojas DFA?

I believe some hypothesized he may have had an opt out, and the Sox wanted to keep him.

Baldwin and the WSox hitting coach seem to be ignoring one of the huge holes in his LH swing....high outside fastballs out of the zone ...especially when Brooks has two strikes on him. Brooks doesn't have a swing that can handle high outside fastballs, like Gavin Sheets had. He is looking to pull everything and often swings without keeping his eyes on the ball.

He is looking to be demoted again if that keeps up.
