I’m going to be on the edge of my seat until Saturday and really hope whatever happens - it ends up being the right draft selection. We’ve missed high in the first round more than we have hit and at 1.1 you CANNOT afford to miss.

Just want to point out that Bonemer will be ready next year to take a spot; Emerson should extend the window....a window that should be open a decade + (unless we start doing stupid stuff).
One thing I prefer about Roch is that he bats right... right handed hitting proficiency is becoming a scarce commodity.

Bobby Witt clearly had elite tools, not just top-tier skills. I don't understand why anyone compares the two outside of them both playing for Rusty Greer. Witt had a better arm, better glove, better speed, and more immediate and projectable power. He also was more likely to get to his hit tool because he had 80 speed. Bobby had THREE carrying tools, and Emerson has... zero?

Also, Bobby had his full-year of pro-ball wiped out because of COVID.
