January 23Jan 23 I would like to think I willed this into existent. Been saying he would be a good add for a few weeks (even if not repeatedly on here haha)
January 23Jan 23 For the life of me, the money they saved by trading away Robert. We have all minimum wage dudes on this roster.
January 23Jan 23 Actually very interesting. Value will only go up if he’s successfully closing games for us. Difficult for my fingers to type this…but good move Getz
January 23Jan 23 Hopefully he does well enough to get flipped at the deadline for something nice, otherwise, I would have rather just kept Robert for practically the same price.
January 23Jan 23 Alright another starter and let’s roll. Also an OFer but I have a feeling that’s unlikely.

January 23Jan 23 Interesting. I am usually one of those "bad teams shouldn't pay relievers" sort of guys, but there is an opportunity to build value here, so I am intrigued.

January 23Jan 23 Profile looks decent. Walks too many guys but has pretty electric mix looks like. Hopefully he does solid and is flipped at some point.
January 23Jan 23 I do think they will another starter. Another 1 year deal on a low cost veteran to help eat innings. Same for OF. I don't see them adding anything other than a spare part type who can take at bats

I agree, but if he gets the closer role and has a really strong first half you're looking at a pretty nice asset to move who will have an additional year of control at only $10 million

January 23Jan 23 This signing did surprise me a bit. His age and a 2 year deal...I would think, if he performs as a closer, he would be moved by the deadline.
January 23Jan 23 Excellent addition. Huge flip potential with that second year. Edited January 23Jan 23 by DirtySox

January 23Jan 23 Love the idea of getting a closer that they can flip. Still think Taylor should be moved if teams have a huge price on him.
