Would be nice. Not sure why they didn’t protect him in the first place.

Honestly it might be easier to keep him then. They can use some IL time, and also use a rehab assignment to kill part of the season if they like him. Technically he only has to be on the ACTIVE roster for 90 days of a season to fill his roster requirement.

WestEddy Posted yesterday at 04:30 PM Share Posted yesterday at 04:30 PM (edited) Another interesting note from @MLBBruceLevine on #WhiteSox camp: the club is hoping that Luisangel Acuña gets 500 plus at-bats playing primarily center field and hitting at the top of the order. — James Fox (@JamesFox917) February 28, 2026 On @thescorechicago earlier, @MLBBruceLevine predicted that Grant Taylor would be the opening day starter for the #WhiteSox in 2027. Whenever that is. Interesting thought.— James Fox (@JamesFox917) February 28, 2026 Edited yesterday at 04:32 PM by WestEddy

WestEddy Posted yesterday at 07:28 PM Share Posted yesterday at 07:28 PM First live looks at Blake Larson for me⬇️ He’s a year and change removed from TJ now and ramping up in bullpens slowly. Super deceptive movement and low slot. WestEddy Posted yesterday at 07:58 PM Share Posted yesterday at 07:58 PM George Wolkow just went deep in the first inning of backfield scrimmage. Sounds like that has been a frequent occurrence out of the gate this spring for Wolkow — Elijah Evans (@ElijahEv8) February 28, 2026

kitekrazy
I was thinking last night of seeing the D'Backs vs. Mariners until I seen lawn prices were $80. Do ST prices get lower towards the season? I was looking at Sox vs. Royals a week before the season, $30 for the lawn. ' I also wonder if you wont see the guys on the league roster play. Just eight games the last three years in the big leagues in RF. Even if he was playing RF instead of LF/DH...he would need to be playing nearly every day to be fully prepared. It's a lot like sticking Pollock into RF in similar circumstances in 2022.

I think most days (against righties) will be: Hays in LF, Acuña in CF, Baldwin in RF with AB DHing.
