Happy 90th birthday to Mr. Jerry Reinsdorf

Featured Replies

The big 90. His birthday was yesterday but somebody forgot to make a thread.

Happy birthday Jerry.

Hope he has a terrible day and gets the shits from his cake.

Hope he stubs his toe getting into bed.

Hope the day is as miserable for him as he has made my White Sox fandom

JR is one day closer to giving up control of the franchise.

I can't tell you how much this thread means to me. Thanks.

But your cash means more.

Sell the team

Went to Glendale for 4 days. I actually saw JR pull up to the front gate at camelback on a golf cart. He doesn't look like

the 90 year olds i've known. Having lots of cash really helps retard the aging process. At least on the outside. Went to

Sox/Cubs opener in Mesa with my Cubs fan Brothers in law. Pretty sweet game. Saw Sox beat the Brewers at the ranch.

Camelback really is pretty great. The wife and I might go back without the relatives in a year or two.

Said it many times Spring Training is 100% worth it if you've never been. Even for a bad Sox team.

Light up a cigar as you hope for a second place finish, Jerry!

It's crazy because it's not like he is in great shape either. Just our luck, Reinsdorf is basically William Shatner 2.0.

He's lived a great life. Not many people can boast of owning a World Series winning team and NBA championships. Happy Birthday.

Will not buy any Sox tickets until he is gone.

I'm actually jealous of how looks at 90.

Some of his decisions are a sign of aging

Good for him.

Yeah, there are lots of people who look older than that who are in their 70s.

Feb 25: George Harrison

Feb 26: Jerry Reinsdorf

Feb 27: Johnny Cash

I went to a wake this week for a man who passed away at 106.  He was very active running his own store until he was 104 as was his wife who survived him.   I hope Jerry doesn't last  till 96 and Getz is still the GM at that point.
