    He didn’t call you back?

  • I'm a little unclear on what Will was supposed to do today. His starter went 3.2 innings. Hicks is a converted starter who looked utterly dominant in his first inning of work. Pretty clear we weren't

  • IMO there is no skill involved in catching foul tips, it's completely random

Murakami looking lost. Major uppercut in that swing

Mune tends to take some odd looking swings at pitches on the outside part of the plate

If this staff is giving up an average of 3 runs/game, the bats just have to be able to win one of them. Especially at home.

Get a timely hit or two.

TRYING to homer at 98-100 with that swing plane almost impossible...

Too many stifs in the lineup

Every time they show Will in dugout all I see is loss after loss.

Confirming my suspicions, Mune has barely made contact with a pitch in the outer third yet. They'll probably keep attacking him out there until he figures it out. Luckily, he hasn't chased too much and he generally kills pitches in the middle third so pitchers really need to execute to get him.

The staff isn’t good enough to maintain that kind of performance and the lineup looks the same as always — mostly mediocre with some uncommon breakouts of offense.

I was really hopeful after the Toronto series that the Sox could take advantage of a struggling Oriole team! I guess not.

Just a bad day today with the usual issues that have been dogging this franchise for several years now.

Bullpen coughs up another lead after the 7th inning, team scores less then three runs and they make two more errors.

As Kenny said at one time, "it is what it is..."

Not much more you can say or do.

Getz has put together just a horrible team. This bullpen sucks, and Quero needed to be traded in the offseason. Another awful use of resources.

this team is bad with 2 strikes

pen never really gets ahead of hitters

Got to listen last inning on radio. Sounded like 1st pitch to Murakami was center cut fastball that he missed. Pinch hitting ain't easy

Weather conditions.

Sitting all day long.

98/100 velo from Helsley.

It's precisely because the staff isn't good enough to perform like this consistently that the bats need to show up when they do. Just go like 4-15 with RISP instead of 2-15 and it's a won or winnable series.

And I’m saying they can’t because the lineup has no consistency either. Losing Hays and Baldwin isn’t going to make things better either.

Argued all off season that Quero's value and his slower bat speed/lack of power as well as glaring defensive deficiencies were not making him a slam dunk add for a contender to automatically just annoint for a starting role.

Same old story, too many AAA players.

Ofc, if Quero had been traded, Lee or Romo would be your starting catcher as of today.

He actually was pretty good in his first inning, problem is the manager and GM has decided to put their 2nd best reliever in a opener role so now we don't have much else to throw out there.

His SFG BOS era's last year should have indicated that well enough to send up a bright red warning flag.

Getz tried to outsmart everyone but probably got conned in the process.

Ohtani had a very good first season at 23 but his age 24-25 stats average out to around a 105 wrc and maybe a 770-780 ops.

That's a bit lower than most are hoping for from Mune, yes???

I would be surprised if he has a worse season than Ohtani did in year 1
