To me it was the start of the complete clown show of an organization. Hiring LaRussa was the worst decision this organization made in the last 10-15 years and I think it just put us even more behind. We clearly had the talent to capitalize on and it just all went to s%*#. Hinch would have gotten way more out of that group. Tigers were in a much worse position when he took that job and has helped right that ship.

It's really uncanny.

Part of this, I think, is because of very poor talent evaluators at the major and minor league levels and part of it, I honestly think, is because these guys come to the franchise, see how incompetewnt and dysfunctional it is and it just plays with their heads and screws up their performance.

I mean losing is ingrained in this franchise and it has got to impact players, especially those who come from a solid winning organization.

On the other side of that ,it seems players are better once they leave and play for other teams. Players coming in get worse. Players leaving get better. It seems to happen too often to just be coincidental.

Lip said it best in his earlier post, it probably comes down to human nature with players not performing to the best of their abilities as depression has to set in knowing they are now part of the worst organization in professional sports.

As each day goes by I become less and less interested in the White Sox. I hope this changes if they ever become average but to be honest I am not certain that it will.

There are guys on this team I have never heard of and I am not certain I could name 20 players on the current roster.

That could change pretty quickly after Ishbia finally takes control of this franchise and completely cleans house in this organization.

But that's still years away. Until then, yes, I can't imagine any FA who is in demand would want to come to play for this clown show of an organization in front of sparse crowds.

RHP: FB up and off the plate, and changeups

LHP: Anything breaking was getting him out

but he made an adjustment in the TB series, hit some RHP changeups hard and hit a HR off a LHP breaking ball

I forget the timeline at this point but I think the start was the clown show recruitment of Bryce Harper and then hiring Machado's friends and relatives hoping that would get him here on the cheap. Then the final nail was not hiring AJ.

It could change but I doubt quickly. You don't revamp a billion dollar organization overnight no matter who the owner is.
