Looked up Belle's 98 game logs, he had 3 in a row, went hitless for a game, then 4 games with HRs, hitting 9 HRs in 8 games.

13 hours ago13 hr Speaking of consecutive games with a HR not only did Murakami's streak get extended to 4 consecutive games with a HR , Montgomery's streak is now 3 and Vargas now at 2 straight games. Tough opposing LHP going for the D'Backs tonight having a very good start to his season Eduardo Rodriguez. Anthony Kay though has been equally impressive so could be a tight game.
12 hours ago12 hr 9 wins before May for the first time since 2021. Date to beat for 10 is 5/4.Would you believe the Sox are 3 games back in the wild card race? Lots of early underperformances across the AL, and only six teams above .500. The 13-10 Pirates are last in their division but would be a top 3 team in the AL. There are 3 teams outside of the NLWC at 13-10, including AZ.Dbacks were pretty hot coming into this series, going 10-4 in their last 14 (before yesterday) including 4 straight series wins and a bunch of comebacks. Top 3 bullpen during that span and batting .300+ with RISP.Their Vargas is also on the longest hit streak in the league (19 games I think?), extended by that garbage time HR.Taking another one off them won't be easy. Slight break perhaps to be catching them when they have no lefty arms out of the pen, with Colson and Mune hot.In addition to Mune's chance to tie the Sox consecutive HR record, he also has a chance to tie another record if his next HR comes before his first 2B/3B:
12 hours ago12 hr Keep hitting and keep playing good defense and the wins will become more consistent. Keep stacking Ws boys
9 hours ago9 hr It is nice to see this team win the first game of a series more often this year. I feel like they've had a knack for dropping the first game of a series for quite some time now.
9 hours ago9 hr Colson is currently 7th in all of MLB in RAA defensively on Fangraphs. I think it's time to consider that he's a full time SS until he's in his late 20s.

Not sure why he isn't at SS every day until an actually superior defensive SS comes along, but I guess we should be used to this by now.

Because if this team is "LMFAO bad" as you keep telling us, then the whole point is to give the guys you traded for a run to see what they are and can do. Everson Pereira was 0-6 in his first two games and missed a cut-off man. Guess they should have DFAed him, right? Also, Colson has played 16 of 23 games at SS. 4 of those games saw him moved to 3B, and 1 at DH. He's gotten 2 games off. The 2 players who have played SS in Monty's absence (Murray, Acuña) are actually better, defensively, than Monty. Edited 7 hours ago7 hr by WestEddy

A lot has changed since then, and I’m sure once the Mets saw what we are currently seeing from Acuna, their opinion of him changed. Getz relying on those scouting reports from 2023 and 2024 definitely wasn’t a wise strategy. 🤣
