One of the least impressive sweeps of all time. That said, nobody is feeling sorry for the Angels. Good job winning the games regardless.

That’s the spirit!!!!!!!

Not the strongest outfield in AAA. Oh, that's our MLB outfield.

Kind of amazing that Quero has an OPS of .471. And that it's not the lowest of anyone batting this inning.

Considering how inept the offense was at home it was good to see the pitching and hitting both show up enough to pull games out.

A rare extra inning win.

Nicely done.

Also the 4th time this year the Sox trailed in the 7th inning or later and won.

They are now equal to the number of games where they took a lead into the 7th inning or later and lost.

I've said it before and I will say it again, The White Sox Are Coming, Tra La, Tra La!!!!

These team is getting better and better boys. I know we still have our fair share of turds still on the roster but damn there's a good group of young guys here that can play ball.

I agree but we need a Major League outfield, if we had at least one guy out there who could give us an .850 OPS, we might be dangerous and then there’s Quero but that situation hopefully be rectified when Teel is back.

Just saw the highlight....it looked like Colson was trying to not do too much. That's great to see as before I have seen him trying to hit it a mile in that situation. Just getting it done to drive in the winner.

Said the same thing myself.

The 8-7 victory the other night was pretty impressive with an 7 run 7th and Drew Romo was very impressive last night.

Is it just variance

Until you have enough of a sample size it is 😉

I think that the O will continue to improve.
Sox have some young guys who right now have modest OPS...but they take their walks and don't K a ton. Few bad habits. Ripe for improvement. Meidroth, Antonacci, and even Vargas (put some batting average on him and his close to .900)

Don't force anything with young-for-old trades.

Vargas is still getting tough batted ball luck, his BABIP is bottom 10 for qualified hitters despite good underlying metrics. His production in spite of that bodes well for when it normalizes.

Like the good old days of working and dropping into game thread trying to figure out what the f*** is happening page by page to see a win in the end.

This team is almost becoming watchable.

I wonder if Vargas understands that.

I believe they are .500 for the month of April

As of this post the Sox are the only team in the division with a winning record in the last ten games and they are 1.5 games out of first. Pump them up or tear them down. Those are facts.

they gotta extend Colson before anyone else imo, he's gonna be good
