Dang, Vargas with a 1.224 OPS vs lefties this season. Absolutely mashing them. Would be fantastic if we could get another decent right handed hitter to DH.

I'm getting drunk enough to get wispy watching that.

Was at the ballgame tonight. Ive always felt in the seasons where playoffs are in our sights, come August the crowd has a different feel. I kind of felt that tonight. The 9th and 10th was electric and it sort of felt like we expected the win. Love when everyone organically comes to their feet at the right moments. Its been a while and tonight was a joy.

If I had a nickel for every 10th inning 2 run walkoff HR hit by a Cuban player on the White Sox in May 2026, I'd have two nickels.

Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Couldnt use soxtalk since I was out and it doesnt work on my phone anymore, but what an AMAZING finish for the good guys. They really dont quit. Ive never seen a team like it.

I had no idea his splits were that drastic until I saw that MLB Network segment. He's actually been pretty bad against RHP, which I didn't really notice.

Our team mashes LHP already. We are currently 4th overall in baseball with a 119 wRC+. Literally every member of the lineup is a monster against them. If we can find a way to keep Grichuk & Hayes, we could legit rock something like this:

• 1B: Murakami = 128

• 2B: Meidroth = 178

• SS: Montgomery = 127

• 3B: Vargas = 231

• LF: Grichuk = 299

• CF: Hill = 142

• RF: Pereira = 207

• DH: Hayes = 131 (Y21-Y25 Avg)

• CA: Romo = 141
