White Sox - Injury Tracker

Featured Replies

Yea has been eerily quiet on the Mune front... Most recent update (at least that I see) was last Friday 6/26 taking BP/running at 85%

Tomorrow is 1 day shy of 5 weeks and they said the 4-6 week timeframe was still on track. Would be an awesome surprise to see the announcement tomorrow but I'll hold my breath.

I think we need the OG Mune champion @Chicago White Sox to will this into existence.

Just leave him ouit through the all star break. Don't want to mess with hammy's

I think a lot will depend on what happens the next four games in Cleveland.

If the Sox do well they can afford to give him more time.

If they crap the bed, I'm guessing his status will at least be discussed by the front office.

Two innings for Shane Smith, 34 pitches.

1 hit (single), no walks, 2K.

Touching 97 with the heater.

Easy 1-2-3 with 2K for McDougal

Touching 99 and looking like a better deadline pen add than many names on the market...

Tanner mcdougal pitching for dash currently

This is the way.

If Mune is running at or close to full speed ( at least one video looked like he is) and hitting without any leg pain, he could be activated tomorrow. Mune at DH with Gonzo at 1st. Ideally, the Sox need at least a split with Cleveland to keep the momentum going into All Star break. The line-up will finally be assembled. Go into Cleveland with all guns blazin' for the 4th of July holiday.

Can't afford to give any more games away like they did in Game 3 with the O's. All aboard.

Great news on Smith & McDougal.

Any news on Billy Carlson?

Seems like after all-star break at this point

He's going to be rusty as hell. You had to know this was coming. Venable said it a week ago or more that being out so long that usually requires a rehab stint in the minors. You don't want him presssing against the best pitchers when he's rusty. Even after a rehab stint he'll still be rusty.

For reference, Teel was in Charlotte for 4 games in June after missing almost all of ST and the first 10-12 weeks of the season (aside from his first rehab attempt of 4 games in May before hurting his knee).

No timetable? Come on Will. Give us some bread. I'd imagine the real answer is "after the ASB". Guess it is what it is.

Figured it was coming, still bummed out by it though. On the plus side hopefully I'll get to see him in Charlotte next week.

I guess question is do they think he goes this week or is it a bit longer. No comment makes me worry there was a set back or he is still at least a week away…in which point…best case he rehabs and is back for first game after the all star break.
