I wonder what Nick Lodolo and Tejay Antone would cost from Cincy?

can't really put together a realistic 3-4 piece depth package when everyone will be targeting Bonemer

We have no excuse not to buy a top-end SP in free agency this offseason. As such, I’d rather keep Bonemer and go with a cheaper SP at the deadline. I truly believe we should not be doing “all-in” trad

Trevor Bauer is an awful clubhouse fit even if you believe him innocent of any criminal wrongdoing. I also don’t understand why anyone would think a 35 year old pitching in the Nippon League or where

Gonzo can go back down to Charlotte and stop his arb clock once Mune is back. That's fine. He just got a nice pay pump for 6 weeks or whatever and now he knows he close he is and what he has to contin

I don’t disagree, I just want to see the super team in a few years with Bonemer and BMont on the corners with a big FA signing in CF, Mune at DH and an infield of Vargas, Ant, Roch and Colson.

This is why I wish lackey in cf was a viable option. The scenario you describe still doesn’t account for our 1.1 guy and it’s already amazing.

I fully expect Bonemer to be our LF within two years. And I don’t think Chase will hold onto to 2B long-term…just not sure yet who will displace him. And for now, I think Peters may hold onto CF. I think our money goes toward extending Mune and adding pitching. If Peters falls off a cliff, I think you end up trading for a CF down the road, but with his defense I think he’s going to get an extended run here.

This is also true and it highlights that Peters could actually end up being our best emergence this year. Wow.

Wonder if having Teel and Lackey split catching duties with Lackey going to DH / right field and Braden moving to center and Teel DHing when Vahn is catching…

Could this keep them both fresh, protect their health, and be something the team values?

Or… talk about over thinking things 😆 ?

I really think Peters is the heart of this team much like I think Rowand was when he patrolled CF.

Huh? He has Roch at SS in that scenario.
