We have no excuse not to buy a top-end SP in free agency this offseason. As such, I’d rather keep Bonemer and go with a cheaper SP at the deadline. I truly believe we should not be doing “all-in” trad

Trevor Bauer is an awful clubhouse fit even if you believe him innocent of any criminal wrongdoing. I also don’t understand why anyone would think a 35 year old pitching in the Nippon League or where

Is there another Colson in our org that I'm unaware of?

The 6’4” shortstop that gets a lump in his throat every time he’s at the plate with runners on.

Didn't realize he was all the way down to .218

I've noticed a lot of times after he swings hard and strikes out he's walking back to the dugout shaking his head and talking to himself. I wonder if mentally he's not in a good place right now and that may be carrying over to his fielding.

He's been in a slump since coming back after the Braves series.

Do we usually have the trade winds forum by now?

Yeah, his OPS is down to .760, 109 wRC+. While I've been advocating for him to take over at 3B when Roch is ready, his bat isn't all that special at 3rd base currently. Hopefully he can pick it up.

I was assured that Colson was "elite", and it was ludicrous for anybody but Colson to playing every single inning at shortstop, bar none. Did something happen?

Guess I need to say this a little louder for the people in the back.

It’s truly unbelievable how people don’t realize how rare Colson Montgomery is

The Colson meatballs are out in full force I see.

You'll have to take that up with Ray Ray

I hope I'm not one of them. I think he's a great asset and will hit periods of adjustment at bat and in the field during his first full season in the bigs. I don't see a problem with Colson getting time at SS and 3B. The kid's getting pretty beat up.

Moreso the hot takes that he should be traded.

Colson at 3b? LOL. Why?

Good news if you asked me. At least the top 5 aren’t going

This sucks more.

Not a good look, but we still have Boston Smith that guy at AA?

I’ve always questioned how he was anointed after less than 1 season. We shall see, but Roch is the future SS

Aint no dang College kid gonna take over for the White Sox HOF shortstop!

I think I've read a few times that once a "rumor" is being reported as "sides have engaged" or as somebody's name came up, it's already dead.

Torens is amazing defensively. But I don't think he'd fix our hitting issues at the position.

You're not wrong. He's only played for one full season basically. He needs to show that he can be consistently good.

Hey .223 is much better than .179 and .132
