Guys you can't judge anything after a guy throws a 40 pitch inning. He's totally gassed from here onward today. He looked fine until his defense gave up 2 outs. Was always going to be a tough matchup with so many good lefties anyway so not going to be a lot of margin for error. He's taking it for the team right now.

That's been the team's MO for the past 2 months. We're amazing at home, but awful on the road. Outside of that west coast trip to Sacramento and Arizona, I don't remember a single winning road trip for this team.

I had no expecations for the staff. They haven't been all that great. You hope help is coming from injured guys and a trade or two. They win when they hit bombs. Just keep doing that.

It's not like anybody expected second lowest ERA in the AL to Schittler entering the game...or three early walks tonight.
