Teel going 5 for 6 yesterday gets me pumped. Add in Mune doing on the field exercises and we are about 2 weeks from having a whole team again. Just tread water and win/split series until they get them

They weren’t late inning defensive changes. They were offensive changes that are now on defense. You can debate whether the pinch hitting was actually beneficial, but they were playing for runs there

Just too many easy outs right now. It’s amazing they’ve done as well as they have the last month.

Teel just went 5-6 last night. I wonder how much longer he needs.

I’m guessing he’s back Monday

I know Braden had a great start but I thought they brought him up too early, he needed more time at AAA.

We were thoroughly assured by some commenters that Braden had nothing left to "prove" at AAA. So here, he stays.

Time to go back watching the U S Open.

Sox only late inning defensive changes team that actively makes their defense worse.

It’s truly insane, isn’t it

I've heard that Detroit has greatly improved and the downtown is decent now. I've never been there though.

I’ll take a pass.

Yeah, some of Will's decisions are really head-scratchers for me.

Did I miss a defensive substitution? Weren't there just two pinch hitters?

No, you’re right. But where they end up playing after.

I dont really even know what to say about his defensive management at this point. Vibes are king, I guess.

Peters and Gonzalez were hit for to no avail

Sox breathing life back into the Tiger’s season! Hope they appreciate it!

Yes.

Just typical "find a way to get Colson off of shortstop" antics.

Oh so they didn't move Colson off of short? I must have imagined it.

Can you explain how they weren't defensive changes? I never implied the moves were made only for defensive purposes.

Won’t get easier against Cleveland pitching.

Was there yesterday. It’s a cool city. Lots of pride for the city with the people that live there too and honestly it’s a great sports city. It has definitely made a comeback.

Quero pinch hitting for Bennie is a sin.

Meidroth pinch hit for 1b Gonzalez

Meidroth to SS

Vargas to 1B

Colson to 3B
