One thing that has annoyed me is that they keep looking for lefties in the bullpen and other then Hudson and Newcomb, they have all been bad.

Should have been used earlier yesterday. Still don’t see much of any plan by Venable in terms of handling the pitching.

Yeah I mean I'm not passing a judgment on his physical abilities but the throws have been not very good at all and they come out looking like they are from a guy whose arm hurts or something. Fastest velo Statcast has from him on an outfield throw thus far is 92 and that's not very impressive for a MLB outfielder. Most guys throw harder in the OF than the mound. And he's certainly had opportunities where you'd expect him to air it out.

I have been bitching about this for months. I don't get the obsession of having so many shitty lefties in the bullpen. We need another RHP and Peoples has been down there pitching well

Rock threw more pitches than Newcomb. That is pure stupidity.
