I say this over and over. I don’t give a s%*# who the announcers are. If the Sox win that day, whoever it was were the best announcers in the world.

Unreal. I can think of about 18 ways that we should have won that game and at the same time it also feels like we shouldn’t have even had a shot in extras.

I still can't believe Meidroth swung on a 3-0 count. You aren't that type of player my man. Murakami, Colson, Vargas sure. Not you.

Swung 3-1 but I get your point

Gah! Beat by two low BABIP singles

We had some cheap hits also in the 8th. It was bad pitching by Taylor. Threw a fastball that Hoskins could hit with his pull swing.

What a waste of back to back homers to tie the game up. I wouldn't be so peeved if we didn't get all the momentum after that only to not finish them off.

Just not easy to sweep Guardians...decade long stretch of not doing so.

But Meidroth has to force the pitcher to make another pitch at 3-2 in the rain.

That one is on Meidroth, 100%.

True, 3-1 pitch count and all he could do is a weak groundball.

it was 3-1

Meidroth swung 3-1.

Better not be

Antonacci needs to take his spot at 2nd base next season. Ideally Baldwin or a FA signing is in LF.

It was 3-1 but the pitch he fouled off was a ball. Just a really awful at bat.

Home losses wouldnt sting so much if they could do literally anything on the road

I would have rather lost in the 9th. That was a gut punch with bases loaded and 1 out not to at least extend the game

Tough loss but they never quit. At least we came back from the miserable series in Motown and won the series. Get some rest and win 2 or 3 from KC.

That was 107 off the bat from Braden by the way.

Yeah, guy walked two in a row. Take at least one. Just a really bad approach.

Too bad he hit in on the ground. If the infield is drawn in that's probably a hit.

Rock was also one of the villains...Getz needs to find someone who can at least throw strikes.

Walking in runs is the absolute worst, especially at home.

Stop fvking bunting. Ghost on second no outs. Why give up an out? Why?

Took an inside high fastball and almost popped out to first base. He wasn’t close to getting his barrel to the ball these final at bats.

That's what I was thinking, pitcher is struggling a bit, Chase is up 3-1 in the pitch count, sit on something, if it's there, attack it, if not, it's 3-2, and try to fight off pitches and see if you get a walk. Horrible AB for Meidroth.

Meidroth is going nowhere people. This is a really valuable player. He's on a tough streak but these are the players that championships are made of. In baseball, "average" does not mean "cheap and easy to find".

I don't know why Venable didn't just keep Eisert in after he pitched out of the jam in the 7th. Instead Rock walked just about everyone.

Didn’t look like it. Game should have already been over by then. Daggummit.
