And that is a 22-1 [largest defeat in KC HISTORY!] WHITE SOX WINNER

Featured Replies

OK, wow. 5 HR for us, and only 4 hits allowed, that will work!

Your first place Chicago White Sox are 42-38. They have surpassed 2024's win total just before the halfway point of 2026

After going 4-22 vs. KC over the previous two seasons, they are now 6-2 with a chance to clinch the season series with another win this weekend.

Sandlin was very solid in his return, the only blip was the control lapse after a long wait in the dugout. The pitch mix tweaks he made in the minors seem effective, with more targeted curveball usage and more cutters after the first time through.

Hopefully the offense keeps up for the rest of the series and they build some confidence to take on the road. The fact that they tagged multiple pitchers in multiple innings and not just one guy having an off day is a good sign.

The outburst also rocketed them up to the T-2 best run differential in the AL.

Elsewhere, DET and MIN both had blowout wins and CLE lost 3-1.

Records since May 25:

  • CWS: 16-12

  • DET: 14-14

  • MIN: 12-17

  • KC: 12-18

  • CLE: 10-17 (!!!)

Would be good timing for a hot streak with the potential for Mune's return to lengthen it.

Joel Goldberg from the KC commentary team said he was going up the elevator and ran into Reinsdorf and that he said the Sox most probably lose tomorrow 2-1 lol

To be clear, we have Martin going tomorrow, I fear the "score a ton of runs one game, go completely cold the next" but we have our ace going so in Martin we trust.

South Side Hit Men, indeed.

I just called Ishbia and he predicts 13-2 Sox because he thinks they'll be a little tired.

It's ok. The Pope supersedes Jerry.

Amen

So glad that Teel hit a HR and seems to be getting untracked.

Peters... well damn !

Gonzo on his way to a Robin Ventura like resurgence after his 0-26 slump, now 5 for his last 8.

Who cares? The real story is still the Athletic survey that said some players heard bad things about the Sox from guys who played here a few years ago.

That's generally how it seems to work.

Hope they saved a few things for tomorrow! LOL

This was fun tonight though, nice to see a laugher.

It’s no laughing matter. It’s sad to see Soxtalk turn into some echo chamber that refuses to talk about real issues facing the team.

Sox hit for the cycle in homers.
